No idea how I solved the zebra but the rest was fun.

Assume the 3x3 grid is numbered 1-9 starting top left tha solution is 9513472

Look at the backside of the shard you get from zebra

The grid is numbered in a spiral, starting with 1 in top left, as is shown on the right side
