to put the candle in full view, click on the candle so there's a blue highlight around it, then click on the square in the right hand corner, by all of your items.

After you put up the screen and get the black square in the middle, wait for the lights to flicker and, assuming you have done the other things that need to be done, it will give you a pattern...

i've put the lit candle under the box.... now what?

Ok I am a little confused with the candle. How I am suppose to use it. I got it lit and everything but what do I do with after it is lit..?

put the black h on it
get and light the candle
put candle in box underneath

Put it on the poster thing. When the ringing sound appears you'll see a pattern. That's how you should put the squares into the black spot on the door. Bingo!

I have the candle lit. I believe I'm supposed to put it under the box/lampshade under the scroll, but I can't figure out how to do that.

I put the black H on the scroll in the alcove, but it's just showing up as a black square, not a pattern.

Also, I only have eight of the white pieces. Should I have nine?

I figured out how to get the lit candle under the box. The game interface was confusing me because I don't speak the language.

Click on the box/lampshade to lift it up. A white rectangle appears (that maybe would display Chinese characters if I had the font).

Click on the white rectangle to make it go away.

Click on the lit candle to get a blue border around it.

Click on the box/lampshade to place the candle.

I have now figured out how to see the pattern in the scroll.

Put the black H on the scroll. It will show up as a black square.
Watch the black square until the lights flicker. The pattern shows up briefly.
