Yay, finally one I could beat on my own.
Never solved the math puzzle...

The first symbol is two sevens combined (one rotated 180). The third is two threes combined (rotated 90 clockwise/counter-clockwise). The two other symbols had solutions already.

Edit: I just discovered... the code only works when clicking the numbers on the wall, and not when entering the numbers on your own keypad. Probably why a lot of people are complaining about it not working.

Those not using the file or opening all drawers, must have brute forced the smell code... there's 64 combinations (4^3). Given the note and two clues, the door only has 56 combinations (8^2 - 8 (they are different from the ones we know and different from each other)).
