I think I got it...

The useful hints for me seems to be "cubic" and "inside out": at the end, after you escaped, it says DICE -> 4935 -> 5934. I think that you have to think about something cubic -> that's the dice, and then look at its letters: the numers are their place in the alphabet. That's how you get 4935. Then you have to read that backwards (which I think "inside out" refers to) and ta da: 5934.
