What do I do with the plate with the papers? I've tried many things, and nothing seems to work

Don't know it either, Doglover. I haven't come very far yet.

Where do you use the other plate?
And what about the RGB panel?

What I got so far:

Collected items from table and from suitcase. Switched on TV by using the hair pin from one of the items. See a cat in the cupboard on the left. Opened the bottom right door of cupboard next to suitcases. Drank the drink. And emptied the ashtray.

That's what I remember, but it's not that much.

I don't know what to do with the RGB panel.

For the other plate

Use it with that "white box" on the wall, next to the cupboard where you seen the cat.

For the ashtray

Use it to break the locker of the cupboard on the right.

I used the ashtray, but I don't manage to use the plate. Do I need to drag it? Nothing happens, tried a couple of times.

Now I only got the plate in my inventory, but I can't use it.

It is a box, once you have it on the inventory, click on it to get an object.

Use it on the suitcases inside the cupboard you opened before
