I don't know how the room # is the code for the jar. It's a two digit number on the door. Need three digits for the jar. I'm assuming that's where the lightbulb is.

EDIT:Ahhh...It's not the room number seen through the eyehole. The clue is on the windows. Once you get that darn jar open the game practically solves itself.
