I can't get the code for the cash box cos i can't do the puzzle... my pc won't open pop-ups, so i can't do it for some reason... Also I can't find the tree piece, any help?

finally finished the game!!
it was hard.
had trouble with the cottunweb and the cat tile, but got it in the end.
i also managed to finish the game without using the laserpin and getting the blue note. i still don't get how to get the note. when i used the laserpin on the bulletin board a cat poped out and then i was stuck.
does anyone know what i did wrong? i want to know.
