Couldn't the dots have to do with the

That necklace was never used in the other games though, it was just necessary to have it to win. I don't know. The only other things that have multiple colors are the books and the notes on the board.

For the notes

There are some numbers on them, but I don't know if they mean something. I tried 5CDL243 on the pc

You may be onto something.

The pushpins are the same color as the dots. Was there a number on the blue one? It doesn't turn back around in the inventory.

I admit that I've looked on another forum, and I was on the right track, but missed some info. Don't know if it's language related or not to get that info.
