The only time the writing changes on that specific leg is when nothing is selected in my inventory--then it changes when I click the grey part at the bottom. When I try to click it with any other item, nothing differen happens. I've even tried burning the *(#$ thing...

Ooh, I just noticed that the little character in the box at the bottom changes his facial expression when I click there... I know that's not important, but I need to report anything I find so I can feel like I'm making progress.
