can anyone help with the "lights out" thing...i'm going to cry its driving me nuts!

This is it.

Alright first things first.

Turn off lights in the right room and look for the white rectangle. Push it and then turn the lights back on.

Turn off the lights in the left room. You do this by pulling the lever in the left room and then flicking the switch in the right room. Again, look for the white rectangle, push it and turn the lights back on.

In the right room, go to the "fridge"; you can now open it. Do so now. You will receive a philips head screwdriver(bottom door) and a mug with a strage picture on it. (If you click the blue box, you'll be taken to another site where you can buy this mug.)

Go to the square on the wall in the right room and click on it. It is a classic puzzle. Solve it and you'll get a usefull shaft to throw things in.

Throw the screwdriver in the shaft. Do not throw the mug in the shaft yet.

The screwdriver will now be in the shaft in the left room. Use it to open the panel by the door. You'll get padding.

Put the padding in the bootom of the shaft. Now you can throw the mug down. Get the mug.

In the left room, go back to the lever and double click on it or click untill yet another tool apears to the right of it. Pick it up and use it onthe sink to fix it.

Fill the mug with water and poor the water into the square hole by the lever. Another panel will apear by the door, but in the right room.

Put the lever back in the original position to turn off the lights inthe right room. When the lights are off inthe right room, look for another white rectangle. Push it.

Back in the left room, arrows will apear by the lever. While facing the shaft in the right room, press the arrow. The guy in the right room will go down. You can now throw the screwdriver into the right room. Do so now. Grab the screwdriver.

Get the guy back up by reversing #11. Use the screwdrive on the panel by the door in the right room. You'll get the key. *Note: not a key; the key.

Throw the screwdriver down the shaft into the left room. Pick it up. Throw the key down the shaft into the left room. Pick it up too.

Send the right room guy back down, but as he is going down try to click on the opening as it passes by to get into the left room. Once you do that, both people are in the left room.

Use the key to unlock the door; open the door;get both people out.

Yay!

For any lame button puzzle solver like me, I've found a hint in www.escapegames24.com's forum;

In the right room, hit the center button, then hit the bottom-left square once, then the bottom-right square once, then the upper-left square once, then the upper-right square once. Then in left room, examine the puzzle in this room. Simply hit the center button in the left room once to beat the puzzle.

Never done this before but this is driving me mad. Played the game three times, believe I am doing everything in the right way and the right order, but there is no people! Are they supposed to be there from the beginning or??

You will never see a person in the game. Think of it as a first person game and you are the person.
