got the screwdriver but boxes aren't active anymore. can't find the magnifying glass either... any ideas?

just read there is a clipper too... I've clicked everywhere, can't find it.. this series usually isn't this difficult so maybe I've done something wrong..


EDIT: ok... I just started over and I had to open the boxes before I turned the lights off, which is kinda stupid since the lighting is the first clue I got... but oh well... I'm out

Why can't I get these text driven games to work I can't move, rarely can I pick anything up, it's maddening I tell ya! All of you are playing these awesome games and I can't figure them out.
