Some of the text still appears in Japanese, or some other language that I don't have installed on my computer. Anywho, I found one item, but I can't tell for sure what it is. I'll try this one again later.

Yep, I've just noticed that, too Although it says English version, everything apart from the introduction text is Japanese.
Seems that babelfish messed up

I have what look like a clipboard, white square with zeros on it, key and a pair of socks. yay?

Edit: cellphone - another key- cap - calculator - another key and I'm out and Happy End is in english.

I give up not having half of that. It's really blind clicking, views keep changing even when clicking towards the centre of the game window, don't have a clue why the key goes to the window or anything.
And I miss "you successefully obtained item" :p
