Going by the book

Next to the fives in the 3,5,5,3 I see the letters 腕 (arm) and 足 (Foot) in there (if babelfish is translating it right). So the 5s in the middle could be push-ups and leg lifts. Just a guess since I definitely don't speak Japanese.

2 push ups, 2 leg lifts, and 3 sit ups

I applied the above translations (whether or not they are right I don't know, but they lead me to the right solution) to the page of the book that has the numbers

The same letters were there that I mentioned in my other post. I had to guess the last one.
