Mindsmasher, I had the same problem. It wouldn't let me use the big ones the first time I played.

Put the

small ones on top of the elevator first, then the two big ones before you do anything else

It worked for me after that.

yeah, that's what I did more less - the landing spot for helicopters I know it should be round but still it reminds it a little

you must

go up with on the platform with the ladder (where you seen a screwdriver) to see a rope. Go on that rope.

OK, I have started this game 4 times now and I can't find the

The second set of benches from the left have to have their backs folded down - click on the benches to come up with another view, use screwdriver on small grey round thing. Then you'll see the rope on the roof.
