I am. I have found newspaper (read) lighter (used) knife(used) bronze key(used) and notebook computer not used. Now stuck. I think there is supposed to be something gold on top of the cabinet(Twin mountains) but clicking upo there doesn't give me any gold.

the last thing you get. You are looking the right place though; just try again later. Look at the top of the lamp next and make sure you read what it says when you use the items in the computer. The hints only appear once.

The hint for that is

early in the game. Its the one about gold at the top of two mountains.

Look above the cabinet

Why you have to jump through so many hoops before it lets you get it I don't know.
