Put the food on it, feed the mouse, out!

carefull: whole walkthrough from where you are

read this if you want a whole walkthrough

top right drawer, see a blue trashcan. click on it you find slices of bread. Feed the fish in the tank. they will give the candle.

use it to open the window.

there is a hole. place the plate, then the food on it. wait. feed the mouse. gives you a red key. you're out.

i'm stuck on figuring how to open the box

i have the clue saying

32=5(mod27) and key=2

and i need to solve

4715(mod)

i tried

mod 27 (=17)

but didnt open

what am i missing??

Out - but don't understand that last clue(?) in the book about 3rd key. Just playing with my head?

It's just the second key you have to worry about, the second key is a square:

So you would square each number you have on the grey box, 4, 7, 1, 5

That gives you 16, 49, 1, and 25

The mod is the remainder of each of those being divided by 27 (remember from the drawer mod = 27), so you get 16, 22, 1, and 25 (only 49 is affected)

Check the left page of the diary to pick the letters that go with each of those numbers, that gives you:
