i figured out how to open the sliding door... but idk wat to do...

i know someone has posted the answer for the abacus, but WHY is that the answer? i really would like to understand this!!!

How the abacus works
I had to look up how to read an abacus for another game. The central bar divides it with the beads above being valued at 5 if moved down to the bar and the ones below being units. Each column represents Thousands, Hundreds, Tens & Units so you can only count up to 9 in each column .. to signify 10, you have to move one bead up in the second column from the right .. just like the way we indicate 10 by writing a one in the Tens column.
