click on the item and then on the door. thentake it from the other room

I couldn't figure out how to move it...I select the crowbar, click the door, then click the button to move to the other room...it come up when I click about items, but it does not drop into my inventory and I can not use it

Walkthrough

Move cans on shelf, get small screw (#1)
Click on green box on shelf, get red screwdriver, large screw (#1)
Turn left twice
Click on fireplace
Get small screw (#2) from top right brick, large screw (#2) from left side floor
Click on stick to lift it and take hinge #1
Zoom out and turn left
Get small screw (#3) from under stairs
Click to go up stairs
Click top of stairs to get into loft
Click on bedspread, get drill bit
Click under bed, get large screws (#3 and #4)
Turn left
Get small screw (#4) from railing
Click on chair to move it, get large screw (#5)
Click on blue button to go to next room

Take drill from shelf
Take box from shelf
Take screwdriver from shelf
Look at box and click to open it, get prybar
Turn right
Click on crate
Click lid to open crate, take four cans of paint, saw and large screw
Look at box in inventory again, click on it to turn it around
Click on lid to close it while looking at hinges
Use blue screwbriver to remove screws, take all 8 screws and both hinges
Click floor on left side of crate to look behind crate, take large screw (#2)
Click on crate to push it under window
Use 4 cans of paint on crate
click on window once to zoom in, and again to open it
Zoom out and turn left
Use the following items on the door: Drill, 2 large screws, 8 small screws, 2 hinges, saw, prybar, blue screwdriver

Click on green button to return to room 1
Click on floor where all the stuff is near the door to zoom in (you must face the wall with the door to do this)
Pick up drill
Look at drill and use drill bit on it
Pick up both hinges (#2 and #3), small screws (#5-12), large screws (#6 and #7), saw, prybar and blue screwdriver
Zoom out and turn left twice
Click on floor to right of bottom of stairs to zoom in
Use prybar on plank (third from wall)
Take large screw (#8)
Look at plank and click red arrow to turn it over
Use saw to cut plank into four equal lengths
Turn plank over again
Use drill to drill two holes in each of the four pieces
Put the large screws in each of the holes and use the red screwdriver to drive them in
Turn the wood over
Use the three hinges on the gaps between the woods pieces
Use the small screws on each of the holes in the hinges and use the blue screwdriver to tighten it down
Zoom in on fireplace and use wood on fireplace
Click wood to put it all the way inside the fireplace
Click on wood to look up chimney and click again to climb onto roof
Take wood from chimney
Turn right to face edge of roof
Use wood on edge of roof
Click to go down and escape

Click on window to zoom in, you should see the wood in place
Click on wood to escape!
