How do you make the tree bare?

Yeah, the tree is bare, but I've already collected the key. Since i can't clear my inventory, I don't think I can pick it up??

Sorry. Can't help you there. Not sure how to put the key back.

Edit: You can put the key on the threshold in the doorway.

When you're typing your post, there's a little balloon with a ? in it. Hit that. Give it a name in the pop-up and then you're spoiler goes between the sets of brackets.

listen to the sounds they make and repeat the pattern. it'll start with one chime and work it's way up. helps to write them down as you go.

You don't need the key to get the log. Have you taken all the stuff off of the tree yet?

Is anyone still around? I'm stuck!! Missing two pieces of the puzzle, can't find the keyhole and I'm pretty darn sure I'm missing the Santa SUIT altogether. Have the accessories, just missing the suit. Anyone around to help?!?

I have found that ALL the puzzle pieces snap, fitting or not.

LOL - love the raindeer. have found at least 9 puzzle pieces. They should SNAP when you get it right. That would help. Maybe my sound is down.
pears? anything else in there or just wasted my time going through them.

After 1 a.m. - I really need to go to bed and start from scratch tomorrow but maybe just one more thing. I should have resorted to reading all the clues people posted.

See Duckncvr has found a key - which I've not done. I guess that is for later - after a sleep a few hours.
