I'm on the second part and found

lamp(or bottle?) ,a broom ,light bulb and a key... used the key to open a cabinet but got nothing?!...now my inventory is empty

also when I click above the fire place I get black screen??

I'm on the second part too. When I picked up the bottle, or maybe it's an awl, the light went out and it looks like I have some type of flashlight. But I can't find anything else. I've been all through the rooms and the loft. Help!

EDIT - Finally found the broom and the rest. Zo, once in the cabinet wait a few seconds and look for a small light or star in bottom left area of cabinet.

Also found second key and a towel or paper.
Used towel on top of fire place and saw some Japenese letters.
Still can't find a place to use the second key.
