You mean about the roman numerals? I did and did exactly how nin_man described it to do but I don't know anything about a blue box

Edit: found a marble and that explaned a lot, p.o.p......

Ok, i think i may be missing a key or something. There are 2 drawers that I can't get open still: the one on the shelves and the one to the right of that (middle drawer)

ok, I think I need a little push...
I have these items left in my inventory

hand crank, brown box, gray thing, venus fly trap (plant), headless doll, picture, teal marble, and green marble.

I can't figure out how to get whatever it is out of the plant, and I can't figure out the code for the fish box. I have looked at the picture over and over and have read the previous hints, but I'm not understanding what I need to do.

Blue box? What am I missing here? I'm trapped on the balcony, followed your instructions, checked and double-checked but the panel won't open for me. Do I have to start over?

I left the one in the eye, didnt know if I could take it back again.

Edit: dont worry about it Nin, Ill mess with this again later and start all over now that I have a better idea of how to get through fast. Ty for the help(and everyone else as well )

I did have them, but one was still in the brown box so I had a small panic.

Am I missing one though? Because I only had 3 total.

i'm well and truly stuck got

doll,drill thingy,metal thing looks like puzzle piece,screwdriver handle and green marble opened up the bottom drawer under books,now can't get the glass cabinet open or get the bottom half of screwdriver from the clock

help!!

So the panel's buttons are numbered like this:

I... II III
VIII IX IV
VII. VI V

You've looked at your marble in the blue box, I assume? And seen the shapes?

Okay, so there are numbers that correspond with each shape.

The three-armed shape is the windmill blade. When you stop the windmill with the lever, you can look at the bottom-most blade up close and get a numeral. Mine was I.

The hexagon is the windmill's axle. Start the windmill back up, climb up the ladder, and look up. The number will spin around. Mine was VI.

The cog is, obviously, the cog. Look on the back. Mine was IV.

The semicircle is the base for the lever that stops and starts the windmill. Mine was III.

And then the windmill blade again. So the number I had was I VI IV III I.

Taking that to the panel, I hit the buttons in the follwing order:
1 * 4
* * 3
* 2 * and then 1 again, and the panel opened up.
