How do you break the statue?

Hi there

I'm new here (well I read and do games with your help long time, but now I'm so stuck, I need to ask a few things).

Here's what I've got at the moment

And here are my questions

* How du I punch the statue? I clicked on it and nothing happens
* Where are the batteries?
* What to do with the long stick combined with the 90° angle?

I just got the yellow key from under the bed with it...

Stupid me, the batteries are in the remote...
Ok, got back to the garden - and got PUNCH finally and FIRE

Does anyone remenber the secence of the stars in the box?
I tried like mad...

When you have all 4 pieces of paper go back outside to the table near the first door, click on the leg nearest to us and get chilli

I wish somebody would post the locations of the pieces of paper, I can't go any further. I only have search and item. No idea what this star box everybody keeps talking about is.

As I recall, you need to discover 'punch' before you need to collect the papers. To do that, get the yellow key to open bottom drawer of desk; look at picture in drawer; click on alien statue in first room, on top shelf.

The locations of the papers are in previous posts.

3rd paper missing - someone said in a tree I think. Tried the one outside and the Xmas tree with no results. Key for bottom desk drawer? Have red, yellow, white & blue stars. Saw reference to a star box w/ pills. that is still a puzzle to me.

OK found 3rd item, and missing key .. so maybe just one more item to find? I just got to go to bed .. why am I up with drooping eyes?
Think the order has something to do with color they were found on and the TV code? I'll have to try tomorrow and take better notes .. *yawn*

After getting 4 papers and using phone (I remember going back to first room for some reason, but my memory may be flawed) melt the ice next to the outdoor tree using 'FIRE.'

Now you're at the same place I am. Lemme know if you figure out how to do do the star box: I've been stuck there for two days now!!!
