Can't get red key yet but:

if you found the pink circle, salt, spoon and red liquid, place pink plate on table next to beaker, place 2 scoops of salt on plate, ad salt to beaker, then ad red liquid to beaker, key will float to top

1. Click Red Key 2. Click Big Cat to summan cats. 3. Click top of cage 4. Click left cat. 5. Click Big Cat to summon new cat. 6. Click top of cage. 7. Click new cat. 8. Click left-cat. 9. Click key. 10. click Right Cat. Sorry if this is wrong; I'm doing this from memory, but you get the gist.

Nuggets!! I'm stuck I have

3 cages keys, used one cabinet key, used, and some blue stuff, not used, and still have red liquid

and still can't p/u that ball on the first screen

You need to

use the cats to turn the valve first.

Yeah, I've been trying that and they just don't move at all. Maybe I need to restart...

They're just jumble up in a pile and won't move for 'nuthin. Am I supposed to put them somewhere first? I've tried this too.

@Michelle. You need to have

gotten the opal colored globe out of the cat machine and put it in the picture. A "start" button will appear for the jigsaw. You get 6 pieces at a time. Most won't be in position to snap into place but if you center them over the space they should occupy you can spin them with mouse clicks.

Hope that helps if not I am sure somebody will explain it better.
