why does string tangled in a comb catch a flying yellow book? why do I have an orange?

I am not giving up but this game is just bizarre.

I caught the flying book without those objects either.

In these games I usually like to imagine that I'm actually IN that room, and figuring out what to do next...and then I see a flying book!...I need therapy

Me neither shining, haven't done anything constructive in over 10 minutes. Think I will quit for awhile and come back and read posts later. Besides, they don't even look like comic books.

I think those stairs are gonna move at some point. Stairs going nowhere make me nervous
