take a close look at the pen, then use the can on it, you then see a cat with a leaf on it's head. Get the leaf, take a close look at it and use the can on it. You'll get a pink heart to use on the bars on the door, click on the arrow when you get it

I have 12 notes and whatever that thing is with the ? on it

very stuck now can't find other note, aaarrrrgggghhhhh

when you zoom in and find a note check around some more

I got out with "Happy End" so there must be a second way out? Never used the blue flame thing...

Start using your items one each other after you have the 13 notes... then use the heart on the bars of the door.
