things are hidden differently each time

my car remote control (joystick) was behind the plant. but that does not mean it's there in your game. keep watching your mouse pointer when it changes...

i found the cell phone! Can't seem to find joystick still.

I restarted game...got a new code...and the joystick was in the plant, at the base of the plant...hope that helps. Don't know why I couldn't find it the first time

I restarted game numerous times to test your theory about the joystick in plant, of all the times i restarted, everytime it was in the bookshelf, never in the plant. Nice try jerk!
