I have sent a walkthrough to a select few, as that seems to be the purpose of this thread.
Wouldnt want to give out any hints, just tell you of my accomplishments.

I've got 47 and have found most of the difficult ones, probably overlooked some of the easy ones.
White pieces are almost invisible (took me a while to find one near the plants and the one by the elephant)
Any list would be greatly appreciated

EDIT: Found #48, still missing one I assume!
2ND EDIT: Just found #49! On to that jiggsaw!!

not me -- there is one to the left of the hand near the plant -- its black
and then there is one up at about....2 o'clock on the lace...it's really hard to see. underneath the curtain. it's white.

I know the places but i can't find the hotspots and this is killing me.

I have found the tricky ones that you mentioned.
i will keep on trying.
I don't see anything by the plant
(maybe I have taken them, who knows)
and i don't get anything like tool box

There are two on the plant:

One is very dark and is located very near the hand, the other one is lighter and is near the curtain

For the diskete/tool box:

On the desk of the many drawers, zoom on the boxes, click around the boxes to the right (I think the tool box is actually inside the box with the VHS thingies). To open it:

When you have it on your inventory, click around the left side of it, and it'll open

Have you got the pieces that you can get only after moving the object a bit? If not, here are 3:

Open and close the curtain 6 times (click more or less on the left upper side of the curtain)

Click on the top left egg painting, to move it a few times (8 times, I think), when piece falls, zoom to the little table to get the piece.

Open and close the upper right drawer of the desk some times, and a piece will fall, too.

My arm is killing me...im closing this for now might try again later. I got 47 pieces
This is too hard hiding them like that, not all monitors can get light or dark enough, well mine cant! Im on 100% brightness and I still couldnt see them

I have restarted the game again, and indeed I find no key either, I'm gonna see where I got that from, cause it makes no sense at all! Sorry! How many pieces are you missing?

and i went thru the entire list -- and pretty sure i had all of them.

once again -- im going to start over...and follow the list word by word. ha

i am overlooking SOMETHING. i've wasted like...50 hours of my life on this game... not really -- but it feels like it. ha


@Michelle -- i don't know, i just don't know. haha i could probably tell you every single place to find the pieces without even looking thru the game -- but i just can't seem to find them myself. there must be one that like disappears on me after i've found it. haa

where exactly in drawer 3 column 3...is the piece? i can't find it for the life of me. i've been clicking for half an hour.

oh my god. i got it. it was there all of a sudden after opening the drawer about twenty times. i might cry.

Good lord!!! It took me about 3 1/2 hours to find all the pieces! Thanks to everyone that posted hints. I think it would have been impossible for me without those.
