Obviously not looking enough if you only found 2 items(there are 5). Also it's more of a crank than a handle. Lastly, this is probably a direct translation of the game. Don't expect the vocabulary to be oh so perfect.

new one though - how do you get the flower? do I try to grab the floaty ones or does one drop on the ground? (these games make me feel so dumb!)

Well - .. I'm at a standstill for too long. reread hints - people just go "I'm out" - I can't raise guard and tried in several places .. what I have is above. Seems like I have everything. Even tried from treetop!
I'll check back later to see how dumb I was.

You've opened the safe already right? If you've called the guard, the door would have been unlocked.

Behind the bench with the handbag? Or at the treetop?

Go into the middle of the two buildings and click on the left side of the screen. You should see a hole where you can use the crank.
