Hmm....did you

push the red button on the box next to the gate once all the colors were in the corresponding shape? And did you make sure that for the square, for example, that you lit up all four sides of it - I mean all the lights on the sides, not just the four corners? (I did that the first time I tried. )

fixed the broken wire underneath the box with the red button? You'll see that it needs the replacement wire put in.

screwdriver?

If so,

use it on the grate on the wall to get the wire. You'll need to be sure you have the flashlight and batteries for it before you can get the wire, though.

EDIT: I have to leave, so I'll post a bit more help in case you haven't already done these things:

You need the flashlight from behind the plant. You need the batteries from the alarm clock you get off the shelf. Put them in the flashlight. Use that to see the wire once you have opened the grate. You get the screwdriver downstairs.

You will see a key beyond the second set of bars. But you can't reach it. Look for something near where the first set of bars were to help you reach it.

There are two endings. One you will die, and the other you escape with the bike. Good luck!!
