ok, i'm sorted with the three rings, a sidecar (dont know if that drink is right but it wont let me go back), and locked box. Dont know what number to use this time?

Locked box:

Use the rings with napkin, it will give you a hint (which is by the way not very convincing).

Anyway the code for the small box will be 9999 (hint from rings xyz meaning maybe towards the end and 9999 as the final numerals)

By the way for the 4 endings:

Sidecar: The "proper" ending, explanation of what happened in the last 50 years.
White Lady: The "wine" ending, in which he drinks wine, waiting and thinking.
XYZ: The "Hair Salon" ending, in which he sees a light accross the street and runs there to see if his love is waiting; he realizes that it is just a Hair salon (a reference to another game by the same author).
Margarita: The "rings" ending, in which he leaves the bar to look for his love.
