found all 10 possible cards, there are also LOTS of scrolls written in Kanji that I can't understand.
DO NOT read spoiler unless you want to know where ALL these cards and the red cards that allow you to access some of them are exactly!

red card behind boxes with books (opens left door in corridor).
blue card 1, open window.
blue card 2, move clock.
blue card 3, by stairs.
blue card 4, under pillow in left room.
red card under bed in left room.
blue card 5, to left of desk by clock.
blue card 6 in boxes, 2nd row across, 4th box down.
red card in boxes 4th row across, 3rd box down (unlocks box on desk).
blue card 7 in box on desk.
red card in bottom drawer of desk behind scroll (opens wardrobe).
red card in wardrobe (opens locked drawer where books are).
blue card 8 in 2nd drawer down where books are.
blue card 9 in boxes, 1st row across, bottom box.
place to enter password in boxes, final row, 4th box down.
switch to turn off lights in boxes, 4th row across, 2nd box down.
blue card 10 in boxes, 4th row across, 3th box down.

cant work out the password though from the letters you find.
(find them yourself!)

Red ones. They open some places. I was able to open one of the room

YAY..I got 8 cards I was about to give up.
