figured out the code!

you only need 3 balloons, white line on the color code represents the x or multiplication sign found by the door, "black" is the number and the math sign on the brown cabinet with the tree painting, it's kind of hard to see

the piece of paper with the colors is a hint. there is a white X on the floor which = multiply. you have 3 balloons.. do 37x53x5=.... then if you notice the black box on the wall, it is pretty hard to see but it says -256. Do that to the answer of the equation and you get your answer to the code.....

that subtraction was too difficult to see. I never used the 3rd inventory space so maybe that was something to make it more visable. If not this is a disappointing game

That missing item was bugging me so I replayed and replayed...but finally got the answer from winneco on Nordinho -

if you place the safe below the cabinet with the hard to see number and then click above that cabinet you get a towel that you can use on the that number so you can see it better

Thanks Tweety, that was gonna bug me until I found out! Now if I could just figure out if there is a benefit to popping or leaving alone the big red/orange balloon that hides the whale's eye. I see no difference in the ending if you do or don't.

Put adhesive on the inflated green balloon, then the thumbtack on the glued spot.
