Matches are behind the big dresser/cupboard.
Paper is in the unlocked drawer.

Walkthrough -

go right. go right. Open then shut curtains.
wait for Help message on curtains. Close curtains.
wait until it says something was heard behind curtains.
Open curtains, get key. go right, Open right drawer, get transparency.
Choose key, open left drawer, click book to read diary (its no help).
Click left side of cabinet, get matches, click down.
Go right, wait for blood. Click blood, get axe. Go right.
choose axe, cut log. Choose matches, burn log, get duck head.
Go right. Go right. Choose duck head, put head on body.
Go left, open curtains. Double click transparency.
note which numbers branches are pointing at (4125).
close transparency. Go left, go left.
Click safe (under painting), enter 4125, click blue button.
click down, get key. Choose key, click door, click gap.
Escape Success!
