Mystery House - The Basement Escape

i got the code but it wouldnt let me put it in once i got the key so i had to get out using the key

I'll post a walkthrough since it seems that people are struggling with this one.

Click under the door to get a stick.
Turn left and take the pickax head. Combine the stick and the head(double click icon).
Turn left once, use pickaxe on crack. Look under one of the debris to find a screwdriver.
Turn left twice and use screwdriver on panel.
Take the wrench and turn the wheel.
Turn right and use the wrench below the sink. Turn the tap.
Take the note. Examine it and you should see numbers as well as this figure.
If you look closely, you'll see that there are 9 numbers in the figure in black. Might have to squint a little. Haha.
Notice the 9 boxes on the wall? Click the box in the order shown in the note.

Get the shovel. Turn right twice and use shovel on dirt mound.
Take the key. Numbers should appear on the wall.

Ending 1: Use key on the door and leave.

Ending 2: Enter the numbers into the safe, read the book, then leave.

Ending 3(Good End): There are 3 hints. On the key, in the diary, and on the photograph. You'll have to enter "1854" into the safe first, blood would appear on the photograph. Then, enter "7326" and read the diary.(Thanks to varnenas and Archontic)

If you're using the walkthrough, I suggest getting only the 3rd ending. The first and second merely have lesser information.

First ending, the "victim" has no idea who the two bodies are.
Second ending, the "victim" thinks they are two brothers
Third ending, the "victim" thinks they are two brothers, feels sad, and leaves flowers for them. Lol.

Ending 3 (?) look zoomed in a key. Yuo must find a number on it. Enter this number in the safe and picture will be slopped with blood. Then leave the room.
Maybe there is something incorrect but I had a success escape.

The diary log was written in 1854, and the picture has 1854 written on it in blue. Furthermore, the key, upon inspection, has 1854 written on it.

Put 1854 in the safe, and blood will magically appear all over the photograph. "OH, MY GOD!" he exclaimed in a proud and happy voice.

So that's how you get the third ending.

Can't believe I didn't see those. 3 hints and I couldn't see it. Hahaha. Also wonder where the flowers came from.

i'm not sure if i liked that game or not, i think the room was too empty and there wasn't enough items to use,

Lol. Means the remains(a.k.a. the skeletons) remain dead in the basement. Get the good ending to understand a little bit more.

There's a pattern to how you change the numbers. Think consecutive.

Hehe. Try changing other numbers first, then change the ones you might have problems with.

HI I'm obviously an idiot. I just can't figure our how to punch the numbers in.
Anyone want to point out what I'm doing wrong - I'm counting left to right and top to bottom:

is this wrong? I've even tried clicking the number of times for the numbers on the note.
