did you put the coin in the slot? and do all the other steps before that point in the walkthrough? including reading the 3 memo's and zooming in on the potser with the magnifing glass with the lens attached?

I did all these things, except I only have two memos.

One from under the cupboard and the other one from behind the desk leg.

I replayed the game again and searched and clicked everywhere but I can find this third memo. And of course the fridge still doesn't open.

I can't have a magnifying glass from shelve I'm clicking everywhere and it doesn't work. Please help

Use the long stick to get it. You can find the long stick in the lower part of the door.

I just played again. I am so sorry. you are right. there are only 2 memo's.
do you hear the tune when u play each water filled glass? make sure all the glasses are filled. other than that I really dont know what could be wrong. it worked for me.

Yep, I heard the tune, I can even whistle it. Well, then I give up. For some reason the game doesn't like me. Thank you very much for all your effort for trying to help me.

all i can think is the water glasses aren't filled all the way

I am really starting to think this game has some bugs, but I hope I am wrong about this.

I went back and it still won't let me open the fridge. And I went back tried to fill the glasses back up baut it still won't work.

did you put the gold coin in the slot first?
sometimes you have two click on the glasses with the water pitcher twice before it fills

I have played several times and always had the code in the walkthrough.

OMG, your code works for me too. But the according the memo and the painting the code really is

CEGDFAB or 13524678

I checked it three times very accurately and the same for every other time I replayed the game.
