Ghost Escape

[Mistery]

A ghost has chased you into an old haunted cabin. You must escape before the ghost gets in. Make sure you make no noise, otherwise you will be caught and have to start over. Good luck!

break the clock with the sock-covered hammer

I have done so far:

Got Sock (used), hammer (used), sponge-type thing (used), key (used), and knife? (used once, not sure if there are more uses or not)

No clue what to do next.

Also:

can't seem to figure out how to move the floor mat without the ghost hearing

soap on the floor below the window (had to drag it back and forth) and moved the table over

sponge like thing on the floor in the upper right corner until the puddle stops growing....then drag the table in the upper right corner of the floor in front of the window

Did you get it completely opened or just unlocked?

Just unlocked, it is still closed. Need a way to open it.

Edit** I have a feeling that

the rugs have something to do with breaking the glass on the window

This is where you could use

the glass cutter from the alarm clock

but that still won't quite get it open.

Click

the rightmost corner of the right-hand rug

and then you can move the other rug.

And out.
