I don't get the "count letters" clue. Are you talking about the words

GOOD, NEW YORK and JOY?

How do I count letters? :/ I know I'm being dense here, sorry. And what do I do with the numbers I come up with? Put them in the comp?

I tried that in the comp. I tried the total of all the letters (14) and all of them without counting one twice (11) and entered them in comp. I entered 1234567 too in case that was the answer, no good. I still don't understand

help?

I really don't see how you people do it sometimes. I NEVER would have thought of that on my own. Ever. In a million billion years. I mean, it seems so vague to me! To pick one of the three words and use the code on it like that. How random is that? My brain just doesn't work that way. But I love escape games so Thank Goodness for forum help!
