The code:

The blue in the diamond doesn't fill it in....the answer for the diamond is 0. Then count the sides on the other figures. I kept trying 4 for the diamond. Wasn't working. Then I tried 1. Finally 0.

Let me know if you need a bigger clue.

But I still think we have to fill in the diamond first because they don't like roundness...

Okay, So I see

that now that the negative symbols is gone...the star has 10 sides, and the square has 4 sides. That equals 14. I think we need to count sides of the shapes we have....and match them via color in the appropriate box.
