counting the number of letters for the colors in the brown box and like yellow=6, etc. And then matching those numbers to the corresponding spots on the grey box...but that didn't work either.

And I can't burn anything. Keep getting the words

Uh...maybe for you it does...

I'm not quite getting how it all relates.

Here's my thinking so far..

I'm seeing colors on the wall and each shape has a certain number of points. diamond=4 points, heart=2 points, etc.

equation shows 0=0 (do they mean points?) If so I still don't get how star (5 points) + square (4 points) = -14. So...In conclusion, I must be an idiot.

Okay, So I see

that now that the negative symbols is gone...the star has 10 sides, and the square has 4 sides. That equals 14. I think we need to count sides of the shapes we have....and match them via color in the appropriate box.

But I still think we have to fill in the diamond first because they don't like roundness...
