I don't understand what you mean.

choose the car, click the key at the far end of the tunnel then click the string.
then look at the car to get the key off the magnet.

Call me an idiot but I've done everything and I can't figure out how to get the string to pull the car out to get the key and magnet. I can put the car in, with the long stick but every time I click on the car or the stick, it just pulls the car right back out again. What am I doing wrong?

Well, I don't have magnet ..
I figured the 240 = degrees in a circle - thus 8 o'clock should read 3. who knows .. I didn't find the other #s.
Time for a snack .. I'll leave this up in hopes of someone coming by and helping me *sigh*
