You have to use the

hammer!

If you have the paper, you can

click in the areas with the hammer.
The paper tells you how many times to go down and then the same for the right arrow.

You have to click

all five areas and water will pour out!

Same here. I have reached that point but have yet to find the holy grail.

Edit: I've found the Holy Grail

When you get to the part where you have to follow the ivy and reach the scene with the locked chest, go back once and then click the opporsite side. Hope that makes sense.

From the ivy passage go right, right, left, right, left, right to get the 1st paper. Go back then left to get the grail.

Use the key from watering the flower (don't forget to cut it after you water it) on the chest in the room where you got the 1st paper. Click inside to get the bag of blue sand.

Across the hall from the triangle idol is a box with 9 squares. Click on the squares then solve the puzzle by lighting all 9 squares with circles at the same time. When it's solved, open the box then click inside to get the red sand.
