So far

I've got a box cutter, hammer, candle (unlit), key (used), and a blue spade... found a weird pattern on the couch, which I assumed I was supposed to cut, but no dice. Any hints?

Eh, whatever... I think language may be too much of a barrier with this game for me. There are a lot of items that are completely written in Japanese...

works fine on Firefox, just takes a long time to load as its also loading music.
mute works if you dont want to listen to Take That sing "how deep is your love"

Found hammer, key (used), candle (unlit) & box cutter.
also cant cut spot on sofa.

cant find any other objects though. or find anywhere to use what i have.

to light the candle, go to the window and

click on the left sky, above the cloud, and click the lighter. u know what to do now!

then use the lit candle on

the spot on the couch

use the hammer on the

beauty table thing's (can't remember it's name) mirror. get the club.

you can get it with cutter from the red picture with three sades on, click from the frame the very right square

from the flower in pot, zoom in, click the right leaf and use cutter

zoom in great blue circle, click bottom right side, use cutter

left side of bookshelf there is a readable hint

red=u, orange=A, blue=R, black=C, green=E, white=D, violet=T and yellow=L

In the shelf there are two books, one with a hint, but the signs are only squares for me.

got it by try and error because couldn't read the hint in book: make caps lock/great letters RULE
