                                  What kind of wood?

                                  I don't completely get this one, but the answer has to do with a tree that has been turned into another form. At first , I thought it might be

                                              I am not alive one .. water seemed likely ,,, foxglove but guess that is living.
                                              Got to zip to kitchen and chicken going - I'll think while there. Back in a jiff

                                                      I think the eyes are obviously universal to I's but it still is tough. I was thinking needle eyes, eye of a storm, eye of the beholder, eye in the sky, eyewitness... i think it may be a word that has two i's in the front that people look at the back of.
