i love how nobody answers the question: where to use the stupid key?!?!?!

EDIT: used walkthrough. i hate doing that but stopped right where I was stuck. once i figured out to

use the chisel on the base of the tree

it all worked out. If anybody needs a bigger hint about the key, let me know. i know how frustrating it is when you're stuck and come back to this forum and see a bunch of "I'm out"'s and no hints. Just venting - I know it's early in the thread. i liked the game, though, easy enough for me which is unbelievable!

I have

2 used keys, chisel used once, 2 red papers, lighter and have opened the piano keyboard.

So still hunting.

can't find that last item .. evidently others found it earlier in the game. Thinking .. (dangerous)
