Yikes. Twice around the room and all I have is a limp bit of string. I am so stuck

I've been around the room like 5 times and haven't found a thing...no clues to any of the codes or items

When I said "few seconds after I was out", it means that once the first object was found, I had just 2 or 3 things to do in order to get out... I was expecting more clues to find...
