i keep on getting blue key : buggy time

why can't they use primary colors instead of different hues? I did read posts .. Sponge is yellow and has other colors but order? and from afar the other character looks red but up close orange. Or is that just me? Going to spend a bit more time on this before I try the quick out thing.

used string on door, got color code, used, got key, used, got another key, used on door

this game missing stuff or person just liked a lot of red herrings and is snickering at us.

Seen a couple of puzzles but I don't see any hints...
I maybe have seen one hint but I don't get it
Okay, that wasn't a hint but another puzzle I don't get...

there must be a dog around here 'cause I saw a toy...but no ideas about that either..

I give up...it just isn't working...
