          battery or broken clock? changed times twice .. And messy people or those cats take up all the time - feeding them - cleaning litter boxes. Next we will be dusting!

                  Its actually called a KenKen. It's slightly different. http://www.kenken.com/misc/faq

                  Just as an example. One of the boxes says 12x and contains a possible 3 numbers, meaning the 3 numbers have to multiply up to 12. There is 2 possible ways to do it, using 3,2,2, or 4,3,1. 3x2x2 (or any way you want to do it) would add up to 12, but you cannot have 2 twos in the same row so it has to be 4,3,1. The order of the numbers is what you have to decide. but for example 4x3=12 x1=12.

                      That was ok but I didn't find a clue for the word puzzle. I just guessed from the letters available.
