well what the hell? I tried 15 times interchangin 1 and 7. But then I realized I got the piece of paper in my inventory (I have no idea how) and it finally worked!

yeah, I had no idea where that paper came from either....but back to the balcony cause the only use I've figured for it is jumping off and escaping the room that way.
