The Splitting: Chapter 2 - This is the 2nd chapter of The Splitting, an episodic mystery adventure game. The Splitting is a mystery adventure game. The game tells the story of Daniel, who wakes up one morning to find out his reflection in the mirror is gone, allowing him to pass through the mirror into the almost identical mirror world. In the first chapter, Daniel gets to know the mirrored world and its unique relationship with the real one, and starts investigating the disappearance of his reflection. In the 2nd chapter, Daniel arrives at an asylum, where he meets a group of people who lost their reflections. There he dives deeper into this world, and learns more details about the people he travels with.

This game is addictive....
Did what I had to do in the bar, took bus and now into derelist portion of the the old asylum wing...
Unable to put solutiuon on cloth, as cloth needed to access room...won't let me take table cloth...?
Stuck, I'll have to come back to this later....
OH NO!!!! Just found out that 'I' accesses inventory....very helpful; wish I knew before hand! Also, 'M' for Map.
Went completely around the 2 bldg, then back to the front in both views...Went back to view to get Jim's "last name" went out the front door...screen went black....!!!!
A Bug....?
Refreshed and back a scene /w Jim....showed key, but text is off screen? It's a real pain /w text off the screen...
Fuse box key doesn't work, but have managed to 'buzz' myself in....
Alternating between mirror views, I have set fuses, but still locked in real world....playing /w alternating worlds as need key card to get to staff room off buzzed in lounge, and how to get real world fuse box open....

Went to derelict bldg, world of people, toured back bedroom via hallway and found tape recorder and hanger.

Haven't come much farther today....still unable to take key card through doorway...

Take, then just open and close mirror....it duplicates.

Used new items to get cat blanket, and 'finally' fuse box key.

Using file room mirror, combine broom and coat hanger.

Manged to turn off fuse, found Jim, but what am I supposed to show him...?

Reunited Jim /w twin. Searched his room, found nothing but unable to visit other patient rooms; searching....
just junk on bed, now what...
Refreshed and screen and found fileroom accessible in real world...?
AHA! Found next step (took quite a bit of time)....have new info from person and now searching fileroom for more data...

Talk to researcher (girl in bedroom of derelict bldg) but need to ask her to repeat painting info...then look at painting in Jim's room; then find info in fileroom and bring to her.

Found Dorian...now on next task to find Meg.

Alternating between worlds, cover gardener /w blanket then give water, then get shears.

On fence in derelict bldg.

Used shears and now in Megs room.
Found Meg...Chapter #2 finished.
What a long, long game, but very enjoyable! Glad it automatically saved.
Looking forward to chapter#3!

Ok, got to the bus stop, went North (up), found the pub, interacted with several people. Gained

Goo, from soup pot (behind bartender), rusty fork (from kitchen), and blanket (from pickup outside)

Now I'm stuck. Found key to staff room

next to the kitchen, behind the bartender. Climbed into a mirror, but not the bathroom mirror.

Can only go from store room to store room. I know I do something with

with the fan and the pipe, but what??

Oh, just

the pitcher of water on the table with the couple. "Accidentally not on purpose" spilled water on "guy's reflection" and he asked to have the air conditioning turned off.

Used fork in air vent, followed tech into staff room, took wrench from tool box, opened pipe, went into (thankfully empty) bathroom and climbed through the mirror in there.

Have gone back to "unmirrored me", caught the bus and ended up at the asylum. Opened the gates and walked right up.

a rock to break the windows in the West Wing where Mitchell and his friends are. Entered a room, only can't escape.

Now, how to find a handle to leave the room. I'm stuck for right now. Will have to come back to this later.

Door handles are never found...they open in mirror world, or they don't..

Various rooms...last room is mirror that you have to clean.

Ok, finally made it to

the group meeting room, and back out the door into the real world. Now all I need is s'miJ last name and I'm gold, so to speak.

Does anyone else think miJ/Jim look like Chuck Todd from NBC?

Well, it only took me 3 days to finish chapter 2...
