I got to a book using a key

I found the letters, but nothing happened....

You can't tell if code works and awkward to use items, but they do work...
Have key, now book....
Not getting the orange markings on the window/cabinet clue...?
Working on grid clue...thought I had it; I didn't, but just noticed twist....

Match to calendar...watch red/blue positions.

Get letter from book, for calendar number.

Tough one...now have 'shape'.
Placed; now this is making sense....
Wow; another tough one...now have fancy key....

Using calendar. numbers..get 2 numbers from each window/shape from cabinet clues....use those 2 numbers with window math symbol to get 3 numbers (ie/ mountain window is '-' subtraction sign...watch twist where it shows on 1/2 number usage on shape.

Opened door....OMG, there's more...my brain is already sore....I was so impressed with myself for getting door open...
Does this maze end....?
